Vision Hockey is fortunate to have a great staff of coaches who are extremely skilled in hockey and skating techniques for all ages of skaters. They love coaching, and bring many years of experience to Vision Hockey!
Faragher Goalie Development
Faragher Goalie Development founder, Goalie Coach Ryan Faragher, shares his professional experience to mentor goaltenders to be competitive, consistent and confident. Coach Faragher played for the Bismarck Bobcats, goaltending for their Robertson Cup in in 2011. Coach Faragher played NCAA D1 for St. Cloud State University. In 2014, he was signed by the Anaheim Ducks, and he played over 170 professional games in the AHL and ECHL from 2014-2019. Coach Faragher coaches Bismarck Legacy Boys High School.
Coach Orr
Dr Thomas Orr, Univ. of Mary professor for Sports & Leisure Management, has extensive experience as a player, coach, official, & administrator in numerous sports. Dr Orr wa asst. coach at UMary Men's Hockey for 3 yrs. He is a scout for Indiana University, and coached the Indiana Hoosiers for 5 yrs & 2 yrs as director of hockey operations. Former asst coach for Grand Forks Central Knights, numerous AAA, and youth teams USA Hockey Level 5. Dr. Orr coaches for Pro Ambitions and served as Director of Player Evaluations & Development. Dr. Orr also is owner of Hockey PhD, hockey consulting and training. He is a current scout for multiple AAA, Junior, and pro teams. Coach Orr joined our coaching staff in 2026.
Coach Stork
Coach Dean Stork is head hockey coach at University of Jamestown. 2024 MCH Coach of the Year! Coach Stork has coached professionally since 2006 with nine years experience coaching in the ECHL. He was the director of hockey operations at NCAA D1 Miami Ohio University. As a Defenseman, Stork played four years NCAA D1 hockey and 476 professional games in the ECHL and AHL. Coach Stork past awards include All Star Head Coach ECHL, Runner up Coach of the Year ECHL, and has coached 97 ECHL players promoted to the AHL, and 15 ECHL players to the NHL.
Coach Tim
Coach Meyer is Vision Hockey's "Game Changer" Skills Program Head Coach. He coached the Bismarck Blizzard 2014-2022, including six consecutive state championships. He was an assistant coach for Century High School for 11 years and played junior hockey at Jackson Hole, WY (AFHL). Coach Meyer coaches the Century Patriots Girls HS hockey team.
Coach Matt
Coach Winkle is the current Mandan HS Boys hockey coach. He played for University of Mary and Williston State (ACHA), He played with the Sugar Land Imperials (NA3HL) , and WSHL. Matt joined our coaching team in 2025. Matt coaches players of any age and develops fun and challenging practice plans.
Coach Zach
Coach Riskey is a Grand Farks native who played for GF Central. Riskey is current assistant coach of Legacy HS Boys Hockey. He was an assistant coach for East Grand Forks and youth hockey coach in Grand Forks. A well-rounded athlete, he served as a graduate assistant for UND Football. Riskey joined our coaching team in 2026.
Coach Jaxson
Coach Hewitt is a Mandan native and assistant coach for Mandan High. Hewitt is also a youth hockey coach for Mandan Hockey Club. Jaxson also coaches for the Valkyries, a local AAA girl's hockey team. Coach Jaxson has a passion for coaching and enthusiasm for helping youth hockey players reach their potential. Hewitt joined our team in 2025.
Coach Ron
Coach Mansmith is our Head Coach for Spring and Preseason PW, Bantam, and HS. He played D3 NCAA hockey as a Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Raider. He has been coaching Mites, Squirts, PeeWee's and Bantams since 2015.
Coach Tanya
Skate Coach Fyfe is a quadruple-Gold test (figure, freestyle, dance, artistic) figureskater originally from British Columbia native. While a professional skater she started her coaching career, and developed a Power Skating program which incorporates eduge control with strength and speed training. Tanay also plays hockey and coaches hockey Power Skating. She has coached all levels, from Intro to National and Olympic competitors, including the Bismarck Bobcats. Her program trains hockey players to use their blades and bodies to maximize strength, minimize effort, and improve control. Drills to get the most out of each stride. Be first to the puck with explosive skating, stamina, speed, and agility. Younger skaters learn stops they can trust, technique of proper stride, gliding, pushing into the ice, bending kneees, body control, and understanding edges.
Coach Christina
Coach Feland has coached for the Bismarck Figure Skating Club and joined Vision Hockey in 2018. Christina has a figure skating background and played intermural hockey at UND. Christina coaches intro, fundamentals of skating, and Power-Skating for all levels of skaters.
Coach Braxton
Coach Neas, played four years of collegiate hockey at the University of Jamestown and was Graduate Assistance coach for Univ of Jamestown ACHA D2 (2023-2025). Coach Braxton has a Masters Degree in Leadership, USA Hockey Level 4 certified, and a co-founders of Vision Hockey.
Coach Sherry
Coach Sherry has a passion for teaching kids of all ages to skate and helping players with fundamental skating skills. She has coached Intro to Hockey and skating skills for Termites/Mites. She has been the Vision Hockey coordinator since its origin in 2012. Coach Sherry has been the area Intro to Hockey coach for as long as anyone can remember and has taught hundreds, perhaps thousands, of area youth to skate. Coach Margaret Peluso & Coach Dana are her inspiration.

Coach Dana
Coach LaVallie provides skating instruction for Vision Hockey programs. Coach Dana as been coaching Learn to Skate figure skating, hockey, and competitive figure skating for more than 20 years in Fargo, Duluth MN, Superior WI, Hazen ND, and Bismarck. Dana skated professionally with world-renowned skaters while on tour with "Disney on Ice." Dana and her husband are parents of 3 hockey players and a hockey/figure skater.

Coach Jessica
Coach Laurinaitis-Roller joined Vision Hockey in 2022. A MN native playing Defense, Laurinaitis played NCAA III college hockey at St. Olaf College. She has coached youth hockey and continues to play.
Coach Dustin
Coach Moser, Level 4, has extensive coaching experience coaching High School (Fargo South, West Fargo Devils Lake, Morris MN ), Bantam-Mite, Christian Hockey Camps International (Hockey Ministries International), American Outlaws AAA, ND Player Development/USA Northern Plains, Scouting experience including current scout for MN Blue (USPHL Premier & Utah State Univ ACHA-D2). A professional educator, Coach Dustin connects with and mentors to hockey players of all agency, passing on his wealth of hockey & skills knowledge.
Coach Lyndon
Coach Orr, has player and goalie coaching experience with Vision Hockey and Pro Ambitions. Lyndon plays for Univ of Mary (ACHA), previously in the USPHL Premier, Helena Bighorns (NA3HL), Colorado Springs AAA. Orr is a versatile coach who teaches powerskating, puck control, checking skills, with players of all ages
Coach Andrew
Coach Seeberg is a Bismarck native who played in the NAHL for the Bismarck Bobcats and also for Dakota College, Bottineau Lumberjacks. He coaches at the Bantam level and has coached for Vision Hockey since 2019.
